Jobs that turn up the heat on cold Cleveland winters

CLEVELAND -- Even though its cold out, it turns out Cleveland has some of the hottest jobs around.

"Its just really nice coming in when its so cold outside and you come in here and its almost like its summer again," said Cara Mitchell.

Mitchell is a lifeguard in Rocky River where the pool can get up to 83 degrees, not to mention the spa is an amazing 103.

If that is not hot enough for you, try working in a kitchen. While you're sitting enjoying your freshly cooked meal, Deagan's Kitchen and Restaurant in Lakewood says a kitchen can get up to 120 degrees.

"I would say it's a pretty happy place to be considering our winters here in Cleveland," said Executive Chef Demetrios Atheneos.

Our next hot job promised to bring the heat.

"Spinning is one of the hotter exercises because of the environment in the room... it's ridiculous," said Courtney Harris.

Harris teaches a local spinning class at FitWorks in Rocky River. Everyone sweats, everyone works, and it is one hot job on the body.

If working out is not your thing and you just want to wait 'till spring, don't forget that fashion is always hot.

"After the long winter, it's time for a break from wearing the same things and you can wear something refreshing," said Marcia LeGoullon, a student at the Virginia Marti College of Art and Design.

Here's what's in -- going green. Organic fibers and recycled goods are going to be the choices of spring and summer.

If your still a little hesitant on going with those choices, men wear bright colors and nice-fitted tailored suits. For women, movement is key -- go loose and remember that oliver patterns scream spring or summer.
